At the Cliff

At the Cliff

Finally I am standing at the edge of a cliff

There is no mother’s wings any more

That snatched me up again to the nest

When I was falling down forever

With my feeble gestures of my baby wings

I can see only the blue sky

I cannot even feel any wind

I have to soar up to the sky with my own wings

Up there I can float upon the invisible streams of winds

Then I can effortlessly fly

That was what mom shouted into my ears

Now I have only memories, memories of warm encouragement

I opened my wings carefully

Either I fly up into sky

Or fall onto the ground straight

I will find out by jumping

I pushed myself with faith

One, two, and Go!

The Sun light stings my eyes

Ah, Freedom!
