Psalm 130

Psalm 130

Have you made mistakes in life?

The most beautiful benefit of religion is the forgiveness. Those who commit sins, mistakes, and crimes suffer from the guilty feeling even long after they repent or correct their wrong doings. We pay the price of our actions. We pay back what we owe to others. However, the guilty feeling is still there. It would be healed only through God. God can proclaim that I am forgiven.  The psalmist cries out to God!

“Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered. I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning, more than those who watch for the morning.”

Now it is our call to share this good news with others: Forgiveness is available!

Only those who experience forgiveness and the joy attached to it can share the Good News with enthusiasm. I can tell everybody that forgiveness is available in Jesus.

“O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem. It is he who will redeem Israel from all its iniquities.”
